Rick Warren said after he interviewed Sen. Obama and Sen. McCain, don’t just look at the issues, look at their character. That is what I ask of you, to look at my character and judge for yourself!
My VISION for Thetford Township is to start by being prepared for our bimonthly meetings of the Board of Trustees. I will conduct the meetings in an orderly and productive manner. I will develop a format where residents could share their ideas, input and opinions on important and not so important matters, however, those matters might be very important to the individual resident.
I will promise to listen and to treat every resident with respect and dignity. The MTA, Michigan Townships Association, conducts classes on the duties and responsibilities of a General Law Supervisor. If elected I plan on attending those classes to become a certified General Law Supervisor.
-I plan on a complete budget review with a report to the township residents by (February 15th or sooner if possible.
-I will conduct a survey of the residents concerns, recommendations and area of strength through the township newsletter. I will review these concerns and work to resolve them.
-Making Thetford township a safe family oriented place to live will be my main focus.
-I will be available to meet with Township residents and listen to their ideas and concerns.
-I will work to bring new businesses to come in and fill the empty buildings on Saginaw St. in our business district.
